"Honest hearts produce honest actions"
November's character trait is "honesty". Take this time to help shape our  Timberwolves at least 15 minutes this week. There are many great activities and video clips in the PBIS handbook.

Timberwolf Tip...

"Calm down" is a phrase that we all use, especially with kids when experiencing intense emotions. Here are some alternative phrases that just might yield better results, and an action plan to put them in place.

Markham Shout Outs....

This week, Erin Leggett passed her Markham Howl Statuette to Rolando, saying, "I am passing my Timberwolf off to Rolando because I know speaking for more people than just myself, he is always willing to help (especially during times when I don't know procedure and he puts in the extra work to help me figure it out). Thank you for everything you do Rolando!!!!! "

More staff shout outs:

Sue- Thank you being an amazing grade level partner :)

Linda has always been so helpful when I needed something. I will miss her!

Marlene- Thank you for your continued support with PAW Shop! Your donated items don't last very long on the shelves, as the students love them!

Erin Leggett – for letting the parents of her students know of each of their achievements.

Marlene Carlson – for spending extra time to help with first grade assessments.

Kathy – for always being willing to step in and make copies.

Alicia B. – for all her hard work in organizing things on campus.

Stephanie – for putting together the Being a Writer observation schedule.

A big thank you to Alicia B, Karen S, and Erin Leggett for running the AR assemblies at the last minute.

Thank you to the Reacch teachers for your participating in the Being a Writer observation rounds. I appreciate your attitudes and how you all strive to be life long learners.
